Dr. Kent Smith, DVM
My name is Kent Smith. I graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Since becoming a veterinarian, I have worked in general medicine, non-profit medicine, high spay/neuter programs, emergency medicine and served as a mentor for veterinary students.
When I am not involved in veterinary medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family and two dogs, Chappy and Wiley. Northern Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley offer great resources for hiking, biking, running and fishing. I also enjoy doing home improvements, landscaping and experiencing a new restaurant and movie.
I have been employed with the Prince William Emergency Veterinary Clinic since January 2005. During my employment, I have had the opportunity to practice a high standard of medicine for our patients and work side-by-side with a dedicated staff. I look forward to the continued challenges of emergency medicine and meeting new clients.
